Funny Human Services & Community Action Speaker

We have multiple private schools as well as staff support in local school districts in Western Massachusetts. I was given the task of finding a motivational speaker to complete our yearly week-long training for our upcoming year. When I suggested possibly getting a comedian for the event, it was received with mixed commentary. Larry Weaver was a great find, as he advertised clean humor with a positive message. Communication with Larry made the whole process quite effortless and diminished any anxieties I may have had. On the day of the event, Larry was exceptionally professional and outstanding in his delivery. He blended key points and themes into his presentation that were previously touched upon during that week. Our mix of Teachers, Interventionist and Administrators truly enjoyed the experience.

Larry Weaver was our keynote speaker for our agency wide training conference. He was extremely professional in his communication and was very interested in how he could provide the best information for our staff. He asked questions beforehand about our agency and was prompt in his correspondence. The staff gave him a high rating in our reflection survey and mentioned the appreciation they had for combining comedy with an inspirational message. They mentioned that he kept them engaged and interested. He came across very relatable with the staff and his message for positivity and kindness was motivating and inspiring.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to Larry Weaver for being the keynote speaker at our In-Service. I’m hearing positive feedback from our employees; his presentation to some was funny and motivating to others. I have been hearing from some employees that it may have been one of the best In-services we have ever had. Again, thanks so much!

Larry was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive throughout the planning process and asked thoughtful questions to help tailor his presentation to our audience. He arrived early, was well prepared and professional, and stayed throughout our event, taking time to talk and connect with members of our staff. His presentation was engaging, relatable, and filled with humor. He did an excellent job connecting with our staff, many of whom work in demanding social service roles, and his message provided both encouragement and a much-needed opportunity to laugh. Our staff responded very positively and enjoyed their time with him. We truly enjoyed having Larry as part of our event and appreciated the energy, humor, and genuine interest he showed in our staff and the work they do.
