Download Brochure PDFLarry weaver provided a humorous, inspirational keynote at the HANDS Academy. Conference attendees are extremely hard-working home visitors, who have the very important job of supporting children and families in Kentucky. Larry’s presentation was not only insightful, but it provided a bit of comedic relief before participants attended various sessions with very heavy topics. Larry was very responsive about his availability, he gave us a preview of his presentation, let us know where we could find promotional material, and was very flexible when we needed to make small adjustments to our timeline. He also reached out to gather more information about his audience prior to the conference, which we believe added very valuable insight to his presentation. We highly recommend you book Larry for your event!
We have multiple private schools as well as staff support in local school districts in Western Massachusetts. I was given the task of finding a motivational speaker to complete our yearly week-long training for our upcoming year. When I suggested possibly getting a comedian for the event, it was received with mixed commentary. Larry Weaver was a great find, as he advertised clean humor with a positive message. Communication with Larry made the whole process quite effortless and diminished any anxieties I may have had. On the day of the event, Larry was exceptionally professional and outstanding in his delivery. He blended key points and themes into his presentation that were previously touched upon during that week. Our mix of Teachers, Interventionist and Administrators truly enjoyed the experience.
Larry Weaver was our keynote speaker for our agency wide training conference. He was extremely professional in his communication and was very interested in how he could provide the best information for our staff. He asked questions beforehand about our agency and was prompt in his correspondence. The staff gave him a high rating in our reflection survey and mentioned the appreciation they had for combining comedy with an inspirational message. They mentioned that he kept them engaged and interested. He came across very relatable with the staff and his message for positivity and kindness was motivating and inspiring.
Larry Weaver is a standout speaker known for his engaging personality, strong connection with audiences, and clean, uplifting humor. Attending one of his sessions, it's immediately evident that Weaver has a natural charisma that draws people in. His warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm create an inviting atmosphere where folks feel comfortable and eager to participate.

Human services professionals dedicate their careers to helping others, often under pressure, with limited resources, and little recognition. Larry Weaver understands that reality. Drawing from his experience working with the Family and Children's Resource Program at the UNC School of Social Work, he delivers programs that blend humor, encouragement, and practical strategies to help staff stay energized, focused, and resilient.
Raised in a rural community, Larry brings a relatable, down-to-earth perspective that resonates with case managers, family support staff, Head Start teams, and nonprofit professionals. His presentations address real challenges—stress, burnout, and constant change—while offering simple, actionable ways to maintain a positive outlook and continue making a meaningful difference.
Through clean humor and genuine connection, Larry creates a refreshing break from the daily demands of human services work. Attendees leave recharged, encouraged, and better equipped to support both the communities they serve and their own well-being.
