Josh performs close-up miracles. His tools are everyday objects and the human mind. He stands face to face with you and presents the impossible. His magic is powerful, dignified and extremely entertaining.

Josh performs magic with cards and coins and other ordinary objects. He might have someone pick a card and then make it appear in another location, such as his own wallet or under a glass of water. He makes a coin jump from one of his closed hands to the other closed hand and then from his hand to another person's hand.

Before turning his attention to the conjuring arts, Josh was a professional actor in Los Angeles, including a notable recurring role on the TV show Cheers, and as Logan in the film Clueless.

He's performed for street kids in Guatemala (he speaks nearly fluent Spanish), at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, in a maximum-security prison in South Carolina (for his final act, he escaped), at upscale parties in Atlantic City, and at the juvenile facility in Durham. He was one of only two magicians in the US to be invited to share magic at the 2005 World's Fair in Japan, spending 10 days entertaining Fair visitors, foreign delegates and VIPs.

Traveling around the world, Joshua studied with masters and fellow magi on several continents. Now Joshua is regarded as one of the top close-up magicians working today. Private party hosts and professional event planners consistently count on him for unique, powerful and memorable magic at their events.

Strolling Magic

From a private party of ten guests, to a festival crowd of thousands, Josh's "strolling" magic fits most any event. It's close-up magic because it is performed face to face. Some call it strolling magic, as it's often done for multiple small groups of people, moving from one to the next. Lately, people have named it street magic because it can be performed literally anywhere. Whether during a cocktail hour, a formal dinner, an outdoor festival, or any number of events, Josh will mingle with the crowd and share his magic up close and personal.

Stage Show

Suitable for crowds of 20 - 150, Josh's 15 or 30 minute stage shows include plenty of laughs, lots of audience interaction, and several original pieces of magic you will not see anywhere else.
