I would appreciate your feedback in the comments section on content, pacing, production, and anything I may have left out. Here's the voiceover script:
Hi, I’m Larry Weaver. I’m going to show you how to create your own Printable Awards in just sixty seconds. We’ll be using my book, Funny Employee Awards and free Adobe Reader software. The book contains dozen of hilarious awards and because it’s in PDF format, you can type directly onto the certificates. Just pick an award you like, type in the recipient name, date, and presenter’s name. Choose print. Select your printer, and hit OK. It’s really that easy. Now you may have your own ideas for awards and we’ve given you some blank templates to create your own. Just type in the award name, what the award is for – customize it any way you like. These awards are a lot of fun and they’re perfect for any employee or type of business. Visit FunnyEmployeeAwards.com to get your copy today!
Employee of the Month: Congratulations. Now get back to work!
Employee of the Month: If it makes you feel better, a raise can't be framed and hung on the wall like this can.
Employee of the Month: You showed up for work every day. And around here, sometimes that's the best we can hope for.
The PDF includes 12 printable award certificates with various designs packaged in a downloadable PDF file that works on a PC or Mac. You can add what you need — by typing directly into the PDF, by using your word processing application, e.g. Microsoft Word, or by handwriting — to make the certificate work for you. Print as many as you like on the paper of your choice. Certificates are set to work on standard 8.5” x 11” paper. It’s simple and easy to do.

I'd like to thank my long-time friend Reed Tucker from the New York Postfor his invaluable contributions. Without him, this book would still be just an idea floating around in my head. Also thanks to my long-time writing partner Bryan Tucker from Saturday Night Livefor his input, and long-time graphic designer partner Ted Hobgood for his design work.
I've already sold copies of the book to people in the United States, Canada, Australia, The United Kingdom, and South Africa. Everyone around the World loves funny office awards!

It's about time for end of the year office party season to begin. This means awkward dinner conversation, subjecting your new boyfriend/girlfriend to your dysfunctional coworkers, and - best of all - funny awards presentations.
I'm collecting stories and award ideas for my new site dedicated to funny awards, www.FunnyEmployeeAwards.com. There you will find:
Apparently any business can be subjected to funny awards. They are most often associated with office parties, but no worker is immune. They're not unique to the U.S., either. The British particularly seem to enjoy a good "cheeky" awards presentation.
I once had a boss ask me to PhotoShop the head of one of my female coworkers onto the body of a bikini model. I explained to him that this seemed... well, inappropriate, and that I wanted no part of it. Undeterred, he used the old-fashioned scissors and glue method to fashion a funny award certificate featuring the head of my coworker pasted onto the body of WWE women's wrestler Chyna. I don't recall the award, but I'll always remember the uncomfortable presentation that ensued. It was truly a moment worthy of The Office's Michael Scott himself.
So what are your funny award stories? What funny awards have you seen? Post them below to the comments section and keep checking back for ideas!
